World’s best line up to play at Queen’s
Nadal headlines one of the strongest lineups for the Queen’s tournament. Organizers have said this is one of the most formidable line-ups with 6 of the world’s top 10 players already confirmed participation. Queen’s is one of London’s most historic tennis tournaments and is an important build up towards England’s greatest tennis event Wimbledon.
Andy Murray a 5-time winner at Queen’s will be making his comeback after hip surgery. There are a few names from outside the top ten also confirmed such as Nick Kyrgious, last year’s winner Feliciano and Switzerland’s Warinka. Warinka will be more focused on Wimbledon as he needs this title to complete a sweep of grand slam titles.
The Queens Tournament runs from June 18-24, tournament director Stephen Farrow had the following to say:
“To see six of the world’s top 10 players on our entry list before you even get to the names Andy Murray, Stan Wawrinka, Milos Raonic, Feliciano Lopez, Nick Kyrgios and the British No 1 Kyle Edmund really whets the appetite for a fantastic week of tennis,”
